XX - Judgement
+.+.+.+.+.+.+.+.+.+.+.+.+
Jesus
is resurrected, surrounded by worshippers ready for the Final
Judgement. Angels herald his arrival on trumpets. God holds
up an orb and book.
My
Interpretation: Enlightenment.
An
acceptance of oneself and one's achievements in life. Standing
ready for divine scrutiny, confident in the knowledge that one
has lived a fair and just life. This
card indicates an end, and a new beginning.
(Reversed:
Inaction, inertia and resistance to change. A hopeless attempt
to fight the inevitable)
Edit
notes: I've
abandoned my original version to
be more like the Rider-Waite card. I have kept a common medieval
theme, though - the resurrection of Jesus, arising from his
stone casket heralded by angels. I'd probably prefer to use
the name 'The Last Judgement' in acknowledgment of the medieval
theme, rather than the modern short name 'Judgement' although
I'm not really that fussed about it.
