Two of Cups
+.+.+.+.+.+.+.+.+.+.+.+.+
A
man and woman raise their cups in a toast, perhaps of betrothal.
In the arch above them is an emblem of a rampant lion. In the
background is a gentle rural scene, and at their feet, a peacock
and bowl.
My
Interpretation: Love
declared.
An
offer of marriage. Satisfying love, either platonic or sexual.
A very close friendship acknowledged. Balance,
unity and happy compromise. Deep
mutual understanding and intuition.
(Reversed:
A separation. Depending on surrounding cards, this could simply
be a short-term parting for reasons of circumstance; or it could
mean the ending of a relationship altogether)
Edit
notes: Different
to v1.0 card as I've added more symbolism
to assist readers and made it more similar to the Rider-Waite
card.
