Seven of Cups
+.+.+.+.+.+.+.+.+.+.+.+.+
A
red-robed Nun offers a sheet on which seven cups appear. In
the cups are a boy's face, a man wrapped in a white sheet, a
snake, a building, rich jewels, a victory wreath and a dragon.
Six angels look up at the offerings.
My
Interpretation: Too
many roads to choose from can slow the journey.
Imagination
and creativity are gifts, but take care not to be distracted
from your destination. Success
and love are close if you choose the right path. On another
path, illusions and dreams may never be realised. This
card also warns against material goals, as they will bring little
satisfaction.
(Reversed:
Optimism and wanting to believe the best may confuse an important
issue. Take care to consider all possible scenarios, including
the worst - it may never happen, but by preparing for it, the
worst-case becomes less likely to occur)
Edit
notes: Different
to v1.0 card as I've added more symbolism
to assist readers and made it far more similar to the Rider-Waite
card.
