King of Cups
+.+.+.+.+.+.+.+.+.+.+.+.+
A
bearded King stands on the seashore, gesturing toward a large
cup. He holds an arrow and looks into the distance, where the
people on one ship point to another one sailing off in the distance.
A small crab creeps up the rocks.
My
Interpretation:
A
warm, loving man who will give good counsel.
Intuitive,
creative and gentle. This man does not need to portray a macho
image as he is totally comfortable with both his masculine and
feminine sides. He
is enigmatic, with subtle strength - a quiet achiever. Spiritual
satisfaction is more important to him than material success.
He may also be a mediator, or a benevolent leader. This card
represents the zodiac sign of Cancer.
(Reversed:
A man with great hidden sadness. He keeps his emotions within,
which leads to self-destructive tendancies)
Edit
notes: Different
to v1.0 card as I've added more symbolism
to assist readers. This card is now more similar to the Rider-Waite
card, hopefully easily recognisable as both King and Cup are
fairly obvious.
