Ten of Swords
+.+.+.+.+.+.+.+.+.+.+.+.+
A
man lies dead at the bottom of a stone staircase, impaled by
ten swords. The sky is dark and stormy and a large black dog
snarls down at him.
My
Interpretation: Tragedy
and loss.
Pain
and misfortune may strike. Our hopes and dreams may fail. Mortality
is inescapable. This
card also indicates an ending - it could be that a period of
misfortune is coming to a close
(Reversed:
Short-term success, financial benefit).
Edit
notes: Different
to v1.0 card as I've added more symbolism
to assist readers and made it far more similar to the Rider-Waite
card. The main difference between this and the RW card is that
I've added winter-bare trees and a snarling black dog, and the
man lies on his side rather than his face - but I think the
card should still be readily recognisable to RW readers.
