XVIII - the Moon
+.+.+.+.+.+.+.+.+.+.+.+.+
A
smoky-eyed face looks down from a full moon. On a sculpted limestone
outcrop, various animals gambol in the moonlight between two
white columns. There is a stag silhouetted against the moon,
and a greyhound chases a hare up the rocks. A crayfish and crab
lurk on the pebbled beach.
My
Interpretation: That
which wanes will grow full again.
There
may be obstacles to overcome, and cycles of good fortune and
bad. Struggle
through the darkness and glad times will return. Embrace
that which darkness can bring, then daylight will return all
the sooner.
(Reversed:
Hidden threats and enemies. If you have a secret, it may be
exposed)
Edit
notes: One
of my personal favourites. This card is similar to the Rider-Waite
card in many respects, far more than my original.
